Our Annual Business Plan 2024/25

We’ve updated our priorities and plans in our Annual Business Plan for 2024/25.

The new plan builds on last year’s through streamlining our priorities and setting out new Key Performance Indictors (KPIs).

We’ll continue to focus on improving our service, as well as supporting our scheme members through 2015 Remedy, and updating our pension administration platform. A key enabler of this work is our people, which is why the plan also emphasises increasing our capability and improving the colleague experience.

Our CEO David Robb had this to say:

“As we embark on a new year filled with challenges and opportunities, I am pleased to share with you our Annual Business Plan (ABP) for 2024/25. This plan is the third step on our roadmap that we set out in our 2022-27 Corporate Plan, and it details our continued commitment to excellence, growth, and innovation despite the additional financial pressures of our reduced budget.

We have condensed our priorities to align more closely with our overarching goal of enhancing the quality of service we provide to our scheme members whilst reducing costs. Our journey towards operational efficiency and excellence continues, and this year's plan is designed to move us even further towards that goal.

This may be my last ABP here at the SPPA ahead of my retirement this summer, but I am confident that the Agency has the talent, passion, and resilience to overcome any challenges that may arise. By staying true to our values and embracing and enhancing the skills and capabilities we have in our team, I hope we will not only achieve our goals but also set new standards of excellence in serving those who serve Scotland.”
