How we procure goods and services from external providers

SPPA procures a range of services and goods from external providers following a strict set of policies and procedures.

Procurement policies and procedures

As an Agency of the Scottish Government, the Scottish Public Pensions Agency’s procurement procedures are aligned with Scottish Government guidance on designated authority levels and permissions and sustainable procurement.

These procedures ensure a clear segregation of duties and an audit trail of procurement decision making. They also ensure anyone procuring goods and services on SPPA’s behalf has the appropriate training and permission.

Our Procurement Strategy and Report can be found here.
